Wedding Package made in Ontario to be used in Nova Scotia
It is time to share some of the items I designed and made for our daughter's wedding.
The theme was "Chevron", colours were "coral" and "grey", the style they asked for was "simple, elegant and definitely no flowery images". Of course everything had to be in English and German.
At first I was surprised, worried, maybe even overwhelmed by the task and trust put in me to make this all happen. Then the fun started: Barbara shared her ideas with me, I played around, made samples, sent photos, had online conferences and met once half-way, in Montreal to decide on the final project.
So let's start from the beginning with Save-the-Date, made using My Digital Studio.
Theses cards were sent out as e-cards, just very few were printed locally and mailed to loved-ones who do not have e-mail.
Next were the invitations, oh what fun, oh what a challenge, and then oh how glad I was to get a final design of the Personalized Wedding Invitation.
Measurements for base are 5"x 7", first mat 4 1/2"x 6 1/2" and top mat is 4 1/4"x 6 1/4".
The cover in Vellum CS is 8 1/2"x 3 1/2", scored at 4 1/2".
Tag base is 3 1/2"x 2, second layer was die cut, and the name tag was punched out.
Smokey Slate Chevron ribbon and Basic Pearls complimented the design.
This weekend I will post details of the Card Box, Escort Cards and Place Settings.
Thank you for your interest and comments.
