Dahlia Fold Technique

I am excited to show you two cards I made using the Dahlia Fold Technique.
I love the elegance in this colour combination - Soft Suede, Pool Party and Whisper White. The Glimmer circle in the center feels to me like the icing on a cake.
Organza ribbon and Basic Rhinestones add the bling to this birthday card.  I'd like to know, which card you prefer.
I am looking forward to read your comments.

  1. Hi Christine

LOVE these cards. If I absolutely have to choose, I think I prefer the one without the ribbon (although it is a hard choice to make)....maybe only because I think the Vintage Wallpaper EF looks fabulously elegant behind the Dahlia medallion. I must say though, both cards are to die for!
Have a great weekend and God Bless!

  3. Christine...I have tried this fold and since I never cut, fold anything perfect, it made me dizzy to look at it.......Yours is beautiful.

    1. Hi Carol, I agree, it makes you dizzy, but if you take paper with symmetric pattern, it does work. Just give it another try. You will be surprised how easy it gets after the first few scruffy looking ones, I know, it happened to me too. The key is not to fold the second part only half way. Do you understand?
